Cyanotype Space

When I started messing around with the paper I wasn't too sure as to what to make, since this essentially copies whatever is on the top of it. I did know that I wanted it to be somewhat abstract but that was about it. So I experimented with it and found that I rather liked how clear glass objects would leave an imprint.

This effect made me think that the resulting image looked a lot like space, with the planets having some depth to them rather then just solid circles. So I used this to make a couple of space scenes. Then I figured out another method I could use. By flicking or pooling water on the paper before exposing it to sunlight I would get spots that kinda looked like stars.

This gave me the image that I had in mind, so of course I made a few more. I feel like with a little more experimentation one could make something even more complex but I am still rather happy with what I figured out how to make.

Bunnys Day

Making this I wasn't really sure what to do. There were a lot of things I could do but I couldn't think of a coherent project to make that would utilize such things. I did have one idea that I decided to roll with though. That being a moving image that featured my pets. In the end I still feel that it was nonsensical but perhaps that aspect can add to the feel of it. I could make a somewhat surreal moving image. A day in which random happening occur around a cat who is simply trying to rest. Watching a Movie

Ten Photos

I really like Plant Halls aesthetic so I took quite a few pictures of it. The old architecture just has a mood to it that I really enjoy. I also took some pictures of flowers and the area outside of the cass lab. Again some of the older things like the bridge just have a look to it that I really enjoy. The path going into the distance is a particular favorite of mine cause of how the path is centered.
