Experimental Idea

I want to make the world look more ghostly and surreal. To do this I think I might take pictures by having the shutter open for a certain amount of time. I'd also like to have some movement in the picture so that certain objects or people appear almost seem like spirits.

Cyanotype Space

When I started messing around with the paper I wasn't too sure as to what to make, since this essentially copies whatever is on the top of it. I did know that I wanted it to be somewhat abstract but that was about it. So I experimented with it and found that I rather liked how clear glass objects would leave an imprint. This effect made me think that the resulting image looked a lot like space, with the planets having some depth to them rather then just solid circles. So I used this to make a couple of space scenes. Then I figured out another method I could use. By flicking or pooling water on the paper before exposing it to sunlight I would get spots that kinda looked like stars. This gave me the image that I had in mind, so of course I made a few more. I feel like with a little more experimentation one could make something even more complex but I am still rather happy with what I figured out how to make.

Ten Photos

I really like Plant Halls aesthetic so I took quite a few pictures of it. The old architecture just has a mood to it that I really enjoy. I also took some pictures of flowers and the area outside of the cass lab. Again some of the older things like the bridge just have a look to it that I really enjoy. The path going into the distance is a particular favorite of mine cause of how the path is centered.
